How to choose and buy edge band of edgebande machine

1. Look at the surface quality of edge banding. The surface of the edge banding strip should be smooth and not rough, no bubbles, no streaks and moderate gloss.

2. See if it's flat. Check whether the bottom surface of the edge banding is flat and the thickness is uniform. If the thickness is not uniform, there may be a gap between the edge banding and the wood board, which will affect the appearance.

3. Look at the elastic strength. High strength means good wear resistance of edge banding, but too high strength will lead to the increase of processing difficulty. In the actual production, the manual edge banding machine can choose a slightly soft point, and the automatic edge banding machine can use a slightly hard point.

4. Look at the color. Bend the edge band to see whether the surface of the edge band is seriously white. If it is serious, it means that the content of calcium carbonate in the edge band is too high, indicating that the quality of the edge band is poor.

5. Smell it. If the flavor is strong, it means that the quality of raw materials used in production is poor.
